WOVI HealthRing meets the third Friday each month via Zoom
7:00 – 9:00 pm Central Time
Empowering women to take charge of their health
through encouragement and accountability.

The HealthRing will meet monthly virtually, with a possibility of in-person hybrid meetings occasionally. The meetings are designed to support, encourage, to provide information and resources to WOVI members and guests that want to maintain or develop better health and live a healthy lifestyle. Mark your calendars for the third Friday at 7pm CT (8pm ET, 6pm MT, 5pm PT).
Each month we will cover the following:
- Announcements of individual goals, strategies, and accomplishments
- Encouragement and advice of others to each person (like a MentoRing)
- Presentation on topic of interest
- Speaker and Videos
- Activities and a few minutes of actual exercise
- Self-care affirmation
- Health tools and resources
- Online activities like Stretching, Yoga,
- A few minutes of Meditation
- Mental Health information and virtual fair
- Moment of journaling
- Healthy cooking videos
- Celebrations and Challenges
- Water Challenges
- Unique exercises and more
- Topics of interest include, but are not limited to: diets, healthy food choices, energy balance, healthy snacks, stress, sleep, ergonomics, eye strain/vision issues, water intake and benefits, healthy cooking, gratitude, music, dancing, health gear, etc.
Activities (either at meetings or field trips) may include meeting somewhere and walking, hiking, biking, etc.; cooking classes; exercise videos, and others. We look forward to seeing you there!
