The 4th class of WOVI’s Mentor Certification Program (MCP) is currently underway with twelve participants. The leader and instructor is WOVI’s Founder and President, Pauline Shirley, who leads us through a variety of exercises and discussions regarding mentoring. Our first session was conducted in person on March 21st; subsequent sessions are being held monthly via Skype.
Each participant has selected a mentee to work with throughout the 6-month program. During the month, mentors and mentees work toward the goals selected by the mentee. The program will be completed in October when the participants take their final in-person test. Participants will be officially certified at a private ceremony sponsored by the WOVI organization.
Although WOVI members have traditionally been participants of the program, chapter membership is not a requirement. Anyone – male or female – is eligible to participate in this program. Watch the WOVI website for additional information on the date of the next MCP class!
