Get Ready for a Festive Evening!

In this time of COVID, we need the holidays, right this very minute. In the past, WOVI women joined together at the start of the holiday season each year for an evening of mirth and merriment. And hugs — lots and lots of hugs! We may not be able to meet in person this year, but we can still join together for an evening of online fun and the companionship of the WOVI women we’ve all been missing.

So join us on Zoom, Thursday, December 3, for the annual WOVI Holiday Party!
There is no charge to attend the party.

Holiday Party Breakout Rooms

Those Zoom rooms we use for our MentoRings? We’re going to turn them into a bevy of winter wonderlands where you can play a game or two, share holiday memories or just visit with your friends. And you can freely move from room to room as the spirit moves you.
We’ll also join together for some group activities.

About WOVI, Inc. Holiday Giving

We know that this is the season of giving. Last year we had an amazing response to our request for items for Genesis Women’s Shelter. Normally our Holiday Parties are held at a restaurant, where attendees usually purchase dinner. This year, we’re asking that you consider donating the amount you’d spend on dinner (or more, if you wish) to Minnie’s Food Pantry. When you visit the website be sure to check out the story of how Minnie’s Food Pantry came into being 12 years ago and the important work they’re doing during the pandemic.

Minnie’s Food Pantry is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. You can donate directly on their website. When you donate, be sure to put WOVI, Inc. in the ‘In memory/In honor of’ section.
