WOVI’s Annual Mentor of the Year Awards Celebration is our opportunity to meet and honor outstanding women mentors who encourage and promote women in organizations, corporations and throughout our community.
Join us as we recognize Mentor of the Year Candidates and their nominators, and announce the award recipient of the Pauline Shirley Mentor of the Year for 2024.

Friday’s virtual will be moderated by Tammy Dean, WOVI member and Founder of PrayHers, the night will feature an inspiring keynote by Judy Gaman, titled “Rise and Shine: 5 Steps to Cultivate the Next Generation of Women Leaders.”

Meet our Keynote Speaker for the Mentor of the Year Awards Event!
Judy Gaman
CEO, Author, Speaker, Podcast Host
Judy Gaman is the CEO at Executive Medicine of Texas, an award-winning author, speaker, and host of the Stay Young America podcast. She holds a bachelors of science in clinical research administration from The George Washington School of Medicine and Health Sciences, a masters in publishing also from GW, and a graduate certificate in strategic management from Harvard Extension School. She’s heavily involved within the community and is currently the Chairman of the Board for Cowtown Executives Association.
Judy has authored a number of books, including the best-seller Love, Life, and Lucille, and is currently working on the screenplay adaptation.

Tammy Dean
It is Tammy Dean’s passion to help women across cultural lines fulfill, with clarity, their God-given gifts. She accomplishes this through inspirational speaking, coaching, and events. Tammy hosts “Sisterhood Saturday” monthly meetups for women, an opportunity to ignite passions and sharpen connections in a safe environment conducive to birthing dreams, while keeping women in pursuit of greatness. She has also hosted the Sisterhood Call to Unity Conference, an event that brings women together for a time of healing, empowerment, and restoration.
She spent seven years as a bank manager and 12 years in real estate before embarking on a new passion: the hopes and dreams of other women! She desired the same fervency in seeing their dreams come to pass as she would her own. She began hosting prayer and praise gatherings in her home where she encouraged the women to not just pray for their own desires, but to pray Hers also (pointing to a woman in the room). That statement sparked the brand, PrayHers, a 501c3 where the mission is to UNITE women, IGNITE passions, and BIRTH dreams.
Instead of preying on others accomplishments, Tammy encourages women to pray for each other’s success. This also led her to write “In Hers is Yours,” a 31-Day challenge that is changing the hearts of women by proving the power in praying one for another. She also co-authored “Tapping Into Your Inner Beauty,” focusing on forgiveness, self-esteem, kindness, and living with purpose. She has also been featured in VoyageDallas, a community-inspired web-magazine.
Tammy is a proud member of Toastmasters and Faith4Life church, where she serves as a youth leader for children 3rd-5th grade. She enjoys reading, writing, walking, decorating, family, and hanging out with great friends.
